Matthew Dalton has advised a wide variety of companies on strategic alternatives including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, and equity and debt financings.

Prior to joining Lazard Middle Market, Mr. Dalton was an associate in the global mergers and acquisitions group at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers in Menlo Park, California. In addition, he worked in mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney in San Francisco and Palo Alto, California.

Mr. Dalton received a bachelor of science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a juris doctorate from Georgetown University. He is a member of the Minnesota bar.
