Mr. Jenko recently retired as senior vice president, general counsel, secretary and director of The Pillsbury Company. He brings more than 30 years of experience to the firm, having handled more than 150 mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in sizes ranging from $3 million to $3 billion.

In his seven years at The Pillsbury Company, Mr. Jenko managed a substantial number of mergers and acquisitions, including the following major food acquisitions: Pet, Inc. ($3.2 billion); Martha White desert mixes; McGlynn's bakery products; Rousch bread mixes; and key strategic food acquisitions in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, and various countries in Europe and the Far East. He also managed divestitures, including: Alpo Pet Foods, Inc. ($510 million); Van de Kamp's Seafood; Pillsbury's milling operations; Pillsbury's commodity trading business; numerous product brands and manufacturing facilities, including the transfer of associated personnel; and numerous European businesses, including one of the largest ready-meal businesses in Germany. From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Jenko held a similar office with Minnetonka Corporation and managed the sale of Softsoap® liquid soap, Check-up® toothpaste, Claire Burke Home Fragrances, Calvin Klein cosmetics, and ultimately, Minnetonka Corporation. Prior experience includes 14 years with General Mills as general counsel to the Consumer Food Group, where he was involved in an even wider range of business transactions.

Mr. Jenko continues to serve as a member of the board of directors of: McGlynn's Bakery, one of the Midwest's largest and successful bakeries producing and marketing fresh bakery products through in-store bakeries; Commodity Specialists Company, the former commodity trading arm of The Pillsbury Company, spun off in 1993, with offices throughout the U.S., and a focus in international trades of crops, grains, sugars, cotton, cottonseed oil, and rice; Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.; Robert Taylor Companies; and Michael Foods, Inc.

Mr. Jenko earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota, his juris doctorate degree from Seton Hall University, and also earned his PMD 32 from Harvard Business School.
